So my game pigeon isn't working for me. I have been able to use it in the past but today and yesterday it won't let me. I have restarted my phone and I have storage on my phone. I also have a 5s. If anyone could help me that would be great! Girlfriend can't play me back on iMessage games (ios10) I send her moves on Words or game pigeon and they just show up as images and not as games. She can send me moves but on game pigeon it asks me to update to the latest version.

Q1. The game won't open for me on my iPad, iPhone or Android-based device. Why is that?
In order to play Flash games, you have to install a web browser which supports Flash on these devices. Q2. The game won't open for me on my PC or Mac. Why is that?
First, try clearing your browser Cache, and then reopen the game page. If you are unsure how to clear your cache, see this very helpful guide or alternatively see these instructions.

If the game doesn't load for you, and you see a blank area, even after waiting for 5 mins (some games are very large, up to 16 Mb in size, and naturally take longer to load without showing anything), you should try clearing your browser's cache.

Why? Because it may hold an incorrect or incomplete file that prevents the game from loading properly. An incomplete file may become loaded if the connection between you and our server gets interrupted momentarily, or if you hit the ‘REFRESH' or ‘RELOAD' button on your browser before the game file had the chance to load in full.

Q3. Adobe Flash Player required? What is that message about? The game isn't loading for me, and the page seems to be hanging or is blank..
Some games on Learn4Good.com require free Adobe Flash Player software to play.
How to play Flash games using Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer or Firefox for PC - 3 Steps:
A: Click on the 'Secure' icon with the padlock on the left of your browser address bar (above our logo).

Q4. Games Loading Slowly!
Some games are very large, up to 16 Mb in file size, and naturally take longer to load, without showing anything. A slow loading game may also be directly related to your internet connection speed. For example, a regular DSL or Cable internet connection takes 1-2 minutes to download a 16 Mb file.

Q5. Java or Javascript message popped up on my screen. Why? What is that about?
If your computer browser gives you a message that you must have Java or Javascript to play this game, you should first check whether or not Javascript is enabled on your computer. You should visit these sites, and follow the guidelines there;

Q6. How to make Unity type games run faster on Chrome browser?
Some games (HTML5 based playable on mobile and desktop) use Unity engine for some cool 3D graphics and that puts high demand for power. Extra power can be gained by enabling Hardware Acceleration in Chrome to boot performance of Unity Games. Got to Settings >Advanced > Use hardware acceleration when available > Close and reopen Chrome browser to reload settings.

Q7. How to play HTML5 games on mobile or table full screen?
For horizontal type of games - just rotate your phone sideways and the game will go full screen (nearly). To make Chrome full screen on Android (only some Android versions have this functionality), follow these steps: Open Chrome browser. Go to Settings > Advanced settings > Site settings > Enable Full Screen. Now you should have game fully filling your screen. On vertical games - some games have a tiny icon at the bottom right corner to toggle it to full screen in vertical mode.

My Game Pigeon Isn't Working

Hi, I just played on Mac (Mojave, KB+M version) and had a bit of trouble figuring out how to pause the game to change options and see controls. Seems that although both Esc and P are supposed to pause, the game wasn't responding to the escape key.

Hey, sorry I didn't trust you, but...I checked and your game actually does run on Catalina! People just need to download and launch the game via the Itch app, instead of the website. This is true for many games right now. For some reason, Catalina doesn't seem to be able to unzip certain files properly.

This game is cute! I like everything about it (and I really like the name of the pigeon)!

NOTE: If you have a Mac running Catalina, the game unfortunately won't work - this is an issue with Catalina being very restrictive on what apps it will allow to be played on your computer.

I thought that was a matter of Catalina not supporting 32-bit code. Does this game use 64-bit binaries? AFAIK that's the only barrier new to Catalina (though quite a bothersome one).

I've been trying to figure out exactly what the issue is, the game uses 64-bit, but I don't have a Mac with Catalina to test and I've had some people not be able to run it at all and some people be able to run it fine so my guess is it's a permissions thing on the user side.

Ah. I'd offer to help test, but I haven't upgraded to Catalina for exactly this reason (I'm still on the previous release, Mojave).

I found that you can open terminal and run

and then just run the game normally

I've tried a few times to run the Mac version, but I just get 'This app can't be opened', which probably indicates some permission problems, or a corrupted zip archive. I've tried unzipping it with tools other than the standard OSX archiver, but it still doesn't work.

Hello! Are you running Catalina on your Mac? If so, that's because Catalina has very strict permissions for unverified apps. There's a workaround here, although I can't verify if it actually works because I don't have a Mac. If you're running an older OS than Catalina, can you let me know what you're running and what specifically the error message says and I can try to troubleshoot?

Nope, this was on Mojave. Also that was the exact (and very unhelpful) error message 'This app can't be opened'. I don't believe this is the usual key signing error you get for unverified apps, because that has a 'because the developer couldn't be identified' on the end of the error. This error, which I've had before from itch games, usually means something needs to be set executable, but isn't

Interesting. I've done a bit of research on this and the only thing that keeps coming up is something telling me to run chmod to set it as an executable but I can't do that on a PC. I'll rope in a friend who has a Mac and see if I can figure out the problem from there!

Got it. You need chmod u+x on Homing1.1_Mac_KBM.app/Contents/MacOS/Homing

Then it runs. The app bundle itself is already executable, but I that file needs to be as well

I miss some subtitles (english is not my first language), but i find it's a very touching experience.
